Mission & Values

We are dedicated to provided opportunities for all young people to live a better life. Our donations are given to all families & children in need, without regard to their race, religion, or background. We strive to create a better world, and we thank all of you for helping us to achieve that. 

Helping Hands of Orange County Inc. is a nonprofit organization based in Orange County, New York, dedicated to alleviating hardship and promoting stability for individuals and families in need.

Our work began with the collection and distribution of essential items such as clothing and non-perishable food. We are expanding this effort to include coordinated weekly deliveries to households facing food insecurity and financial distress, supported by a growing network of committed volunteers who are central to our mission.

Looking ahead, our vision is to establish a community “free store” storefront where families can access necessities with dignity, develop housing solutions for those experiencing instability, and provide timely assistance during periods of crisis. We strive to identify and fill critical gaps in support so that every person we serve has the opportunity to live with safety, dignity, and hope.
